With pre-season activity continuing apace, ‘Wightlink’ Warriors and Wizards fans will want to note the following dates for track action at the Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium.
Easter Saturday 31 March – club press and practice day. Fans are very welcome to attend. Warriors and Wizards meet the press and then take to the track to blow off the winter cobwebs. A timetable for the day will be issued shortly. A celebration evening party in the Premier Lounge, including rider introductions, will round off the day.
Thursday 5 April – the opening meeting of the 2018 season will be the Vince Mapley Memorial Trophy. The third staging of this individual event will provide an ideal opportunity for the riders to get in some competitive action before the team matches get under way in earnest.
