Warriors second visit to meet Kent at Sittingbourne ended up with a repeat of the score at the end of May. Both National Trophy and National League matches have seen the visitors well beaten by twenty four points.
The home side went in to the meeting in confident mood following their away win on the Island last week. Former Kent man Ben Morley and Alfie Bowtell again worked overtime to keep the Warriors afloat but needed greater back up against a compact Kings side scoring from all positions.
Kent: Luke Bowen 13, Taylor Hampshire 7+3, Nathan Stoneman 11+1, Anders Rowe 6+1, Jack Thomas 8, William O’Keefe 4+1, Alex Spooner 8+1.
Warriors: Ben Morley 9, Rider Replacement for Chris Widman, Scott Campos 4, Danno Verge 6, Alfie Bowtell 12, Shaun Tedham 0, Connor King 2.
Next up tomorrow (Tuesday) back at the Smallbrook Stadium is the exciting Handicap meeting starting at 7.00 pm
