As the end of the 2019 season draws near, Krzysztof displayed his best performance of the year to take the Golden Helmet title raced in Gdansk against some fierce opposition, and he did it in true KK style with a 15 point maximum.

 

5 perfect rides not only positioned him at the top podium, but has also guaranteed his spot in the Polish Grand Prix and SEC qualifying rounds in 2020.

 

Speaking after his victory, KK said "It feels great to have won the Golden Helmet.  It was my night tonight, my team worked hard and gave me a fast bike which made my job easier.

 

I am pleased to join all the big names that have won the Helmet in the past, it makes me very happy to be up there with them."

Krzysztof now looks ahead to his last remaining 2019 fixture, the 2nd leg of the relegation/promotion battle against Ostrovia where Stal Gorzow look to defend their 30 point lead following a dominant display in the first leg.
